About
ServerDrop is an instrument for discovering live Discord communities. You swipe through real, active servers one at a time, instead of scrolling a directory that lists everything and vouches for nothing.
Most server lists rank by who paid or who gamed the algorithm, then ask you to scroll past a hundred dead links to find the one community that fits. ServerDrop flips that. One server at a time, full-screen, with the context to actually decide. Swipe right to join, left to pass. The servers you skip stop showing up; the categories you like show up more.
Discovery only works if the pool is worth searching. Every server passes the same three gates before it can appear, and the gates run identically for every listing, paid or not.
Names and descriptions are screened against a curated filter at submission and again on every edit.
Every user-supplied icon and banner is scanned before it renders. The gate fails closed: an unapproved image stays hidden.
Anyone can report a listing. Three independent reports pull it from circulation until a person reviews it.
The order you see comes from one score, computed the same way for every listing. Member count doesn't rank you. Stars don't. Money doesn't. Paid placement exists, but it is capped at one in five cards and always labeled. The full math is public, down to the decay rate and the cap.
