DMCA & Copyright

Last updated: June 29, 2026

ServerDrop respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page explains how to submit a takedown notice and how the process works.

Some content on ServerDrop is uploaded by users, including profile songs and images. If you believe your copyrighted work appears on ServerDrop without authorization, you can ask us to remove it by sending a takedown notice as described below.

Filing a takedown notice

If you are a copyright owner, or you are authorized to act on behalf of one, you can report allegedly infringing material by sending a written notice to our copyright contact. To be valid under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3)), your notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or, if your notice covers multiple works, a representative list of them.
  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it. For example, the profile URL and a description of the specific audio or image in question.
  4. Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Where to send it

Send your notice to dmca@serverdrop.ai with "DMCA Takedown" in the subject line. We review valid notices and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the reported material and notify the user who posted it.

Counter-notification

If your content was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake or a misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A counter-notification should identify the material that was removed and where it appeared, include your contact information, and include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification. You can send a counter-notification to the same address, dmca@serverdrop.ai. If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material as permitted by law.

Repeat infringers

ServerDrop may remove infringing content and, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
