Official Rules

These Official Rules govern two separate promotions run by ServerDrop: the Swipe Sweepstakes and the Weekly Referral Contest. They are different promotions with different ways to enter and win. Please read the section that applies to the promotion you are entering. By entering either promotion, you agree to these Rules.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

Sponsor

Both promotions are sponsored by ServerDrop, operated by arrowz, based in Ohio, United States ("ServerDrop," "we," "us"). These promotions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Discord Inc. Nitro and Discord are products of Discord Inc.

Who can enter

The following applies to both promotions. You are eligible to enter only if you:

  • Are at least 13 years old (matching Discord's minimum age), and meet the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have permission from a parent or guardian;
  • Have a ServerDrop account linked to Discord;
  • Are not the operator of ServerDrop or a ServerDrop administrator (operators and admins are not eligible to win); and
  • Are entering from a place where the promotion is not prohibited or restricted by law.

The promotions are open worldwide, except where prohibited, restricted, or otherwise regulated by applicable law. Void where prohibited. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, and any taxes on a prize are your responsibility.

Promotion 1: The Swipe Sweepstakes

The Swipe Sweepstakes is a random-draw sweepstakes. Winners are selected at random, skill is not a factor.

Entry period

Each Swipe Sweepstakes runs for the period stated in its announcement. Only entries earned during that period count toward that sweepstakes. The prize and its approximate value are stated in the announcement for each sweepstakes.

How to enter

There are two ways to earn entries:

Free entry (no purchase necessary). Swipe at least one server on serverdrop.ai during a UTC calendar day and you earn one free entry for that day. You can earn one free entry per UTC day this way. To be eligible, your Discord-linked account must be at least 30 days old as of the close of the entry period.

Bonus entries. You can earn additional entries by donating earned Drops to a server's ad-fund pool. Every 50 earned Drops donated equals one bonus entry, up to a maximum of 10 bonus entries per UTC day. Only Drops you have earned on ServerDrop count, purchased Drops cannot be converted into entries, and this is enforced at the system level. Donating to your own server does not earn entries.

Entry limits. Free entries are limited to one per UTC day. Bonus entries are limited to 10 per UTC day. Free entries are also limited to 30 total per IP address per sweepstakes, shared across any accounts using that address. Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC.

How the winner is chosen

One winner is selected at random for each sweepstakes. After the entry period closes, all eligible entries are frozen, and the winner is chosen using a verifiable method: a stored random seed is hashed (SHA-256) and used to select a single winning entry from the frozen pool. Because the seed and the entry pool are recorded, the draw can be independently reproduced and audited. Every entry, free or bonus, carries equal weight, so your chance of winning is your number of entries divided by the total number of entries.

If you win

Winners are notified by direct message on Discord and announced in the ServerDrop community Discord server. To claim your prize, run /serverdrop claim in the community server within 7 days of the draw. If a winner does not claim within 7 days, or is found ineligible, ServerDrop may select an alternate winner at its discretion. Prizes are fulfilled manually by ServerDrop, typically as a Discord gift delivered on Discord.

Promotion 2: The Weekly Referral Contest

The Weekly Referral Contest is a skill- and effort-based contest. Winners are the participants who refer the most qualifying new servers during each contest week, it is not a random draw.

Contest weeks

Each contest week begins Monday at 00:00 UTC and runs until the following Monday at 00:00 UTC. The contest runs on an ongoing weekly basis, and the leaderboard resets at the start of each new week.

How to enter and what counts

Share your personal referral link, available on your Referrals page on serverdrop.ai. A referral counts toward your total when someone you refer lists a Discord server that:

  • Is at least 14 days old (based on its Discord creation date);
  • Has at least 100 members; and
  • Is an active, approved listing on ServerDrop.

A referral counts as soon as the referred server meets these conditions, there is no waiting period. You and the person you refer must be different people. Each server can only count as one referral.

How winners are determined

At the end of each contest week, the top 3 participants ranked by number of qualifying referrals during that week win prizes:

  • 1st place: 3 months of Nitro
  • 2nd place: 2 months of Nitro
  • 3rd place: 1 month of Nitro

If two or more participants are tied on referral count, the tie is broken in favor of whoever reached that count first. Before any prize is awarded, ServerDrop reviews the top of the leaderboard to confirm the referrals are legitimate.

Fair play

Self-referrals are not allowed and do not count. Referring servers using accounts you control, or any attempt to manipulate the leaderboard, will result in disqualification and forfeiture of prizes, at ServerDrop's discretion. ServerDrop's determination of the winners is final.

If you win

Winners are notified by direct message on Discord and announced in the ServerDrop community Discord server. ServerDrop will contact you by direct message to arrange delivery of your prize, and you must respond within 7 days of being notified. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, or is found ineligible, ServerDrop may select an alternate winner at its discretion. Prizes are fulfilled manually by ServerDrop, typically as a Discord gift delivered on Discord.

Both promotions

Drops have no monetary value. Drops are a virtual feature of ServerDrop, cannot be redeemed for cash, and have no value outside the platform.

Privacy. Information you provide in connection with a promotion is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes and cancellation. ServerDrop may modify, suspend, or cancel either promotion at any time, including if the promotion cannot be run as planned or is compromised. Where a winner has already been validly determined, that result stands.
